Terms and Conditions for NexChat

Welcome to NexChat! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NexChat mobile application and website (nexchat.in). By downloading, installing, or using NexChat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility (18+ Only)

NexChat is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. User Accounts and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (Google Account or Password).

  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.

  • You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Acceptable Use

As a platform connecting random people, user safety is our highest priority. You agree NOT to use NexChat to send, post, or share:

  • Explicit or Nudity: Any sexually explicit content, pornography, or nudity.

  • Hate Speech & Harassment: Bullying, abuse, threats, or hate speech based on race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.

  • Illegal Content: Content promoting illegal acts, violence, or self-harm.

  • Spam & Scams: Unsolicited promotions, phishing links, or fraudulent schemes.

Note: NexChat employs a Zero-Tolerance Policy against objectionable content and abusive users. Violating these rules will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

4. Safety, Blocking, and Moderation

  • Reporting: You can report any user or message directly from the app's chat or profile screen.

  • Blocking: You have the right to block any user. Once blocked, they cannot contact you or view your profile.

  • Moderation: We reserve the right to review reported content and suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if we find a violation of these Terms.

5. NexChat Premium (Subscriptions & Payments)

  • NexChat offers a "Premium" subscription to unlock specific features (e.g., matching filters, view-once photos, ad-free experience).

  • Payments are securely processed through third-party platforms (Google Play Billing / Apple App Store via RevenueCat).

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the respective app store's refund policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • NexChat is a platform to connect people. We do not conduct background checks on our users.

  • You interact with other users at your own risk. NexChat is not responsible for the conduct of any user, either online or offline.

  • The app is provided on an "AS IS" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or 100% secure.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content, features, code, and design on NexChat are owned by us and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of the content you send, but you grant us a license to process and display it to operate the service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate your access to NexChat at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time via the "Delete Account" option in the app.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or website. Continued use of NexChat after changes means you accept the new Terms.
